what is accounting??

well in definition, it is the measurement, disclosure or provision of assurance about financial information primarily used by managers, investors, tax authorities and other decision makers to make resource allocation decisions within companies, organizations, and public agencies

accounting cuts to two branches. one is financial accounting and the other is management accounting. even though the names have a big difference, practically it doesn't have much difference in its body, which means they both deals with accounting after all.

i learnt accounting for the first time in the eighth grade of mine. well it was interesting from the first lesson itself. i like to balance things. even if its life or numbers. so as the matter of fact the most interest part for me in accounting was balance sheet. at first i couldn't balance any statement. but i try, and some how i balance it off. it was very interesting. i actually never liked to do any of the home works unless it have been a must in other subjects. but i never leave out a number in accounting. sometimes i don't know how to deal with certain transactions, but its not a big deal cos accounting always gives a way to me. its just a matter of a double entry most of the time. so you i just debit the best entry and credit the other. i didn't really care even if it gets wrong unless i learn the correct one. well that's the way in accounting.

the most exiting thing in accounting is it has a way to go further. if we look at this world even, we have ways to go further in accounting field. you know i didn't leave accounting after my 10Th grade. i chose CIMA to go further. after joining CIMA i learnt lots of new theories and facts related to accounting. after learning new things in accounting i feel that accounting is just rocking actually. when we deal with the budgeting and cash flow things its all like practical.

the best thing in it is, in this big world, in every single corner of it, there is no big or small company which does not deal with accounts. if you look from a small grocery shop to the biggest Microsoft company, it finally deals accounting. because it is the only thing which can tell you how profitable is your company, or whats the financial position of it.

as far as my view goes i guess if you have accounting in one hand you can carry the world in the other hand.

i don't exactly know when will i become a real accountant, but i know finally one day i am going to be an accountant. i don't want to leave this field cos its simply amazing and it rocks..

what i have chosen for my life is, myself first. as you know friends, life is everything, so unless you live with it, you have to be with it and to be with it you need to become something. i decided to become a management accountant. there are couple of reasons behind that. first of all i was good in accounting i believed that i can go further with it, and then my family. well as far as i become something my family doesn't really care what ever i become. a doctor, a nurse, a mechanic, an engineer, a house wife or what ever... so they don't force me to what i want to become. i chose this field myself and they agreed with it. and i am glad for it.

i don't exactly know when will i really become an accountant. but i know one thing for sure, as long as i live i will become one day. its not going to be an easy task, even nothing is easy in my view. but i never loose my confidence when i have to face a difficult task. so i have got one teeny tiny thing to tell you. what ever you choose for your life, how ever it is, face it with confidence, and believe yourself, and never give up until you become what you want to.

you may face lots of troubles when you go through.but you have to fight for it, even if you fall don't just give up because is you are willing to do something there is always a way.

do you know why you need to become something in life???

this world depends on money, money depends on work, work depends on something or someone, and that someone is you. so if you want to live in this world you need money, to have money you need to do some work and to get a work you have to become something at first.

if you see around the world who ever have money, is someone.

how do you make decisions??

making decision is a very important part of life. we make different kind of decisions in our life, and most of the times what we make proves to be wrong. some people does it in choice, others in force, others when they don't have any other way..so it depends.
but the question is the people who make wise decisions, may be even once..how do they do it??? do they use any trick for it???or is it that they have got a little more common sense..???well i say common sense is not that common may be that's the reason all cant make wise decisions in life..
well. as far as my thoughts goes, making a wise decision is not a hard work. what is hard is your cause. the cause which you have to reach to a decision. so just look over the cause closely and analyse it at first. and then when the point of decision comes, what i call wise is the decisions which doesn't harm anybody but gives some improvement.
and its always wise to discuss your cause with your best buddy or someone who cares for you before finalizing a decision.
at last i want to say think before you make any decision so that you wont be guilty later. i also have made lots of bad decisions in my life, even sometimes it had made me live like hell, but i lived with it. "well after all people..this is the so called beautiful life.."
